Another great shot! High contrast works. Looks like late afternoon or early morning. Did you burn the corners, or is that a vignette?

Yeah, it's a touch of vignetting - I find it sometimes helps to "lock in" the image. (I don't know if you know what I mean - can't think of another way to describe it...)

tamlin...how do you made those photo turn into creepy thing?..as your last work.."youre not my mom" and "this house is haunted"..do you use a filter?..i wanna do it..but theres no tutorial for this kind of stuff.

yusreey: I don't have a set technique - each image is treated differently. I wrote a tutorial describing how I created "This House Is Haunted" here: http://www.biorust.com/tutorials/detail/262/en/
The background photo in "You're Not My Mommy" was just enhanced with adjustment layers and then treated with the Anisotropic Diffusion filter (Filters > Stylize > Diffuse...) to give it that slightly unreal "painted" look.
