very creative!!!
i want a socialable encounter with indigenous iguanas.
Can i get a piece of property in cork?

my only thing was that i had to put it in photoshop to read the text but im sure it prints out nicely.

Well, I had to convert it to a Jpg, and shrink the size. The original file was so big that BioRUST would not post it. And the text is only there because my teacher told us to add that certain document, and just change the name in stuff. The one in my portfolio will be a LOT different as far as the text goes.

But yea, the original document was 11x24 in I believe. lol

Nice concept! I'd love to see you make the main island more realistic as if it were shot from the air. The white at the top of the image behind the island name is a little distracting. You might consider continuing the blue and knocking out the name in white text. The forced grid layout takes a little away from the bio-shaped image.

I like this a lot. The layout is great, but I do agree with Stiney that grid does not support the island shape. It's not bad and I probably wouldn't notice it if he hadn't pointed it out (that's why I love this site-- so many viewpoints!)

Another suggestion would be to move the text block over to the right a bit so that it isn't so close to the edge of the gray bar. It will help make it easier to read.

Great work and love the concept!!!

Well, when you print it out you don't so much notice, because it's so huge.

And thanks for the insight guys!

This might be totally useless but I recently created a hazardous symbol and I know it really put my math to the test. I went a little further to make it kind of tribal. I guess what I'm trying to say is very nice job I know some of your effort. You know what I'll post it.
