I think this would have to be exported as movie file, animated .gif, or .swf to retain the movement you are speaking of.

yeah but I would like to make it so everyone ho views it could move that orb around themselves to see the hidden pcture, instead of making it move randomly, that's why I'm stuck with it, and I hate being stuck somewhere

I would say the only way you could do that would be to convert it to a Flash file (swf). Unfortunately I have no idea how you'd code it - maybe one of our resident Flash gurus could advise.

yep... if you want interactivity... then you are gonna want to pull that PSD into Flash... then it might take some Flash trickery to make the orb show what you want but shouldn't be too hard if you know a little Flash... unless 3D max supports Flash output... I don't think you are going to get the interactive part to work from within it when published

I agree with Dean - I think you'll only get the interactivity you want with some ActionScript in Flash. Maybe if unleash is around, he could point you in the right direction.

Send a PM to unleash - he knows a lot about Flash and he may be able to help you.

darn tamlin!

Yeah I could help you out, I think that I know what you want. Its called a "mask" and by using some AS you could move that "mask" so that it only shows a certain part of the picture.

hmm, I will send you a PM about it if you don't mind....I don't feel the urge to make my email public

I don't know anything about what you are talking about in details but if it would look like the way I think it would in my mind that would be really exciting! Hope it works for you! Good Luck!
