A half and hour! you are lucky! sometimes I can wait and snap for hours just trying to get a good bee shot.. those guys do not like to stop and pose. Nice shot.. I like him on top of the flower like that, and good colors.. bet without Jpeg compression this is a beautiful clear picture! good for you!

I /really/ love this. Bees are so cool I never thought about trying to get a shot of one, a zillion bumbles fly around here all the time. You've inspired me to try (once I get some more batteries for my camera *sigh*)

I like how he is curved over and fuzzy, it actually lends some cuteness to an otherwise kinda scary insect.

Joe I have tried for countless hours to get a good bumblebee pic and have never come close to this quality. The detail of the wings and soft fur is some of the best I have ever seen. I love the positioning of this one as well. I give you a ten for this pic because of the difficulty involved in achieving such an incredible shot. MAJOR kudos to you!!!!
