Nice photo. Has a Schindler's List feel to it. My only suggestion would be to replace the washed out background with some heavily contrasted puffy clouds. The kinds that you imagine faces in and so forth. Obviously keeping them black and white. But this might add some more dimension to the photo. Now, I am new around here so don't know if this is for photos only (i.e. no photoshop manipulation) and if so, then: Great Job!
