Description: I loved Heath Ledger's Oscar-worthy performance of the Joker in thew new Batman movie (unfortunately, it being his last role ), but it put things into perspective for me of the differences between the cartoon Joker and comic book Joker. So with some inspiration I attempted to do my own version of him through drawing in Photoshop.

Wow - that's excellent, Loki. I saw the movie last weekend and have to agree that Ledger really threw all he had into the role.

Thank you, Tamlin. He originally couldn't develop a Joker personality that didn't mimic Jack Nicholson's in the first Batman movie so he ended up spending 6 months in a hotel room creating his own.

Looking at this image again, I realised it reminds me a lot of the art of Ralph Steadman. Do you know his work?
