Category: BioRUST.com :: User GalleryMain Submission Galleries3D Artwork
Description: The model mentioned in my blog in its final state. Stars and glows added in PS. Now the lasers are modeled instead of mapped, as planned, and the ship is visible (sorry unleash).
C+C welcome.

Re: Missile Ship Finished

well I would add things like scratches and dirt.... maybe add reflectivity.

Or did you ment it to look a bit cartoony?

Re: Missile Ship Finished

I'm only modeling it because I can't draw, so it's not supposed to look perfectly real.
In other words, yes. But maybe a bit shinier could work... Hmmm (proceeds to make his computer hate him one more time)

Re: Missile Ship Finished

you cant draw? You mean you cant do the traditional drawing thing with pencills and stuff? (confused) and you are still able to make a good design for a model? Thats pretty awesome

You made this in blender, right? hmm... you might want to look into ambient occlusion(http://www.blender.org/development/r...ent-occlusion/)

that should display your model better than anything else No colours though....

Re: Missile Ship Finished

Oh, wait, didn't see the new comment. (Too bad the thing that shows your total comments is gone). I can think of very complex shapes, but I'm not very good at putting them on paper; I can never get the shading quite right. Best to let the computer handle it!
What I want for my space scenes is a really sharp, flat light, but I also don't want my shadowed details to be totally invisible. I'll see if I can get Ambient occlusion to work in a reasonable amount of processing time. Thanks!
