Okay, so I tried my hand at a tutorial here...

But I liked the end result with the letters cut out and cropped close with the image still behind it, why wasn't that part of the tutorial? Any help where I can find that one as well? Thanks! Oh, and criticism and suggestions much appreciated
If you mean the last image in the tutorial: all you need to do is add another image below the Text/Clipped Image layers.
