Description: an Anasazi rock carving. Big horn sheep family I assume.
these images were hand chipped into the rock just deeply enough to remove the layer of desert varnish
a major part of desert varnish is clay, which could only arrive by wind. The clay then acts as a substrate to catch additional substances that chemically react together when the rock reaches high temperatures in the desert sun.

Nice! I really like the simple graphic.
This can make beutiful brushes or patterns I think!
