Wow, beautiful photograph to Foggyrain and wonderful painting with it. I'm having trouble making my pictures look to much like a photograph. Need to learn to be a bit more free with strokes and details. I am learning alot from your paintings. The contrast between the painting and your painting is awesome. I know you use the smallest and most detail at the point of most interest which would be the eyes and head which you did.I never would have thought to have so little detail in the front birds feathered back. How do you go about deciding where to concentrate more detail in other parts of the painting. The back bird seems to have more detail than the front. I really like it you did an awesome job. Enjoy watching and learning!
