Re: The Thinker

Wonderful job Ken! I find it really hard to sketch on the computer. I do better drawing on paper and then scanning it in. Maybe my monitor and tablet are to small. That is fantastic you were able to do it on the computer. I like the shading and composition. I think "the Thinker" needs to think happier thoughts! Ha Ha. Very serious which actually really is made strong with the medium used. Good job! This should have been used for your last battle!

Re: The Thinker

Thanks Nanc! This was the first time ever I tried the "pencils" in Painter, but they worked fantastically well I was surprised, really!
Yes you are right! self portraits, do have a way to get to serious, maybe more by concentration than anger I hope.
And yes I should have used this in the last battle, but I cant see any reasons for competitions, especially in art.

Re: The Thinker

I guess the reason for competitions might be just to get you to push yourself to do something if you are in a slump. As how can you really compare one peice to another Everyone has their own style, color choices, etc etc etc. I dont think you look angry, just in serious thought as you said more like concentration! As always love to see your work.
