Description: Well i got blender yesterday and i am enjoying it so much. This is a wonderful app. I should really write a tutorial on how to model this simple pen.

I have had about three hours blender experience and i can already do just about everything that i can do in realsoft. The only thing i cannot do very well at the moment is making materials, since it is a completely different system.

When i first opened blender i though, wtf, this interface is real shi*e. After alot of practice i found that it is one of the best interfaces i have ever found. I love blender so much because it is free and it no has a really good raytracing engine that you can download and it is automatically implemented in blender.

as for the actual pen, the model itself i think is pretty good. The materials however do look abit fake, espicially the back bit of metal.

I am proud of what i have accomplished in this app. Be sure for a tutorial to come.

Yup, I thought that with some apps and now if I had to try a different layout I'd freeze up! Some layouts just getting used then you're wondering why you thought it was bad!

The modelling job and soft render on this pen is utterly magnificent, with no jaggies anywhere to be seen! To improve it a little i'd add a little mottling to the red effect (make it almost 'abalone' in quality), and make the silver resemble chrome... but these are only minor niggles, and from a very pedantic individual...
