i can't see how notepad can beat dreamweaver, dw has colour coding, code references, live testing systems, GUI (its easier to make a table using that than it is to write it out)
I personally use Notepad2 rather than Notepad. It's basically Notepad on steroids.
People who use DW become to reliant on the program and don't understand everything they're doing. If you write in Notepad you know EXACTLY what you're doing and you have control of everything. Additionally, not all of DW's coding is standard compliant.
That's not right ConceptualMind You can't say that all the people that are using DW don't understand what they are doing. I have used DW three years now and i know exactly what I am doing. and there is lot of peoples that also understand DW. If you are using notepad or notepad 2 you can only code and in DW you can both code and design. You relly made me mad there
