Nice idea for an image. I made a sketch of my dogs eye once with someone throwing the tennis ball for her. It's a neat way to get accross what you think the other person might be thinking or seeing. I'm not sure if I like the skin around the eye being that shiny. it reminds me like the face should be in maybe candle light or moonlight which would be less shiny. This is sort of a modern look for your whole image so maybe that is better having the skin that way.
